Deciding When to Get the Vaccine

I think it is important to take your age and risk factors in consideration before taking the coronavirus vaccine. If you are over 65 or have other health problems that put you at risk, the risk associated with taking the vaccine could be worth it based on what you gain from its protection. However, if you have been asymptomatic or relatively healthy throughout the pandemic and are not at high risk, it might be smart for you to be slow to take a vaccine that was just created since it has not been put through the trials most approved vaccines go through to insure it is safe and effective. So, the right decision to take the vaccine or not could be different for different groups of people. Although most people my age completed their bachelor degree about ten years ago, I feel blessed to be back in college and working towards my goals. Ten years ago, I did not know I was interested in language or construction. I did not know what I wanted to do like so many people in their teens and twenties. This generation is so far from carpentry and construction that I could have went much longer before being exposed to it and finding out I enjoyed working on construction projects. I would probably be back in school changing my major if I had completed another bachelor's degree now that I have figured it out. I'm glad I didn't waste my pell grants on the wrong major. I have blossomed so much in my thirties. It is even harder to learn a language at my age than it was when I was a child. Yet, I have grown so much despite my age. I feel like my genius has been waking up. I am using more and more of my brain than ever before, and it really is miraculous. I have taught myself how I can eventually speak Spanish and Portuguese like a native. I remember struggling listening to the radio in Portuguese and how different it is now. The speed is not the issue. It's about my learning all the vocabulary. When I do not know a word, I can quickly look it up on my phone. I learn new words from reading difficult books and watching programs about animals in the wild. I am good at grammar and reading comprehension. I often understand the gist of what they were saying although I may miss some details. I understand enough for everything to be in Spanish or Portuguese. I see the truth about how Spanish and Brazilians can be racist. I also see how some of them are Christian like sertanejo singer Michel Telo. He puts God first in his life.

All Things are Possible

God is not a man that he should lie. His miracles are genuine from the New Testament and confirmed by multitudes of witnesses. They are not superstitious or magical. They are from sound science because God is not a magician. God is a genius. He is omniscient, which means there is no end to his understanding. How does he heal the sick? He understands how the human body works better than humans currently do. He has a natural cure for every sickness. It is no magic trick when he heals the sick. All things are possible with God because He is so smart that there are no limits on what He can do. I was just thinking about this. When I am not reading books, I watch Star Trek: Discovery in the evenings. I am working through both seasons. I've gotten to the 14th episode out of 51. I love listening to the soundtracks for Star Trek down through the decades and Star Wars, especially The Jedi Steps. It takes my imagination to another place. It's the most wonderful feeling. 

Apophis is Coming in 2029

There is a reason why the International Space Station and satellites remain in orbit at the distances they do around the earth. This is the necessary distance for them to remain in free fall without falling to the earth at the velocity they are traveling at. An asteroid that comes closer than the satellites is more likely to fall to the earth. This is the case for Apophis, an asteroid that is scheduled to fly by the earth in April 2029. With its unpredictable increases and decreases in velocity and the close distance it is predicted to fly by the earth, I think it is impossible to be sure it is not going to hit the planet on the west coast or in the Pacific Ocean. I have read in Thomas Horn's book (The Wormwood Prophecy) how the value of pi has been manipulated in the equations used to figure out if Apophis will hit the planet. I think if it were going to hit, they would not tell the nation because it would cause the population to panic. It has been 65 million years since the dinosaurs went extinct. Isn't it overdue that our planet was hit by one of the many asteroids and comets headed to our part of the solar system? Also, there is a super volcano in Yosemite National Park that is due to erupt that would disrupt the United States' weather for months if not years. No one is reporting on that or how you would not live on that side of the country. This dawned on me while I was watching a ISS video on YouTube. That is what I think from what I know. I think you would prepare like Apophis was going to hit and be planning to live underground. I do not think NASA is sure it is going to fly by or that they have the technology to be absolutely certain. I have heard about the Trump Administration investing in planetary defense to destroy Near Earth Objects. They have not made much progress to my knowledge. They have not made enough progress to ensure they could destroy an approaching asteroid. This are just my thoughts.

The Books of Daniel and Ezequiel and Probiotic Benefits

I finished Daniel from la Biblia Reina 1960. It was really good. Next, I want to read Ezekiel. I’m interested in prophetic books from the Old Testament, especially Messianic prophecies that have already been fulfilled. I read in Daniel about how the Messiah is cut off or died and then the temple is destroyed. This is accurate to a death and a temple destruction within three days. It happened on the 70th week or year AD when Daniel probably followed a different, Hebrew calendar. This is the year Solomon’s Temple was destroyed. He is crazy accurate.

"But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." --Daniel 12:4.

This must have sounded crazy to Daniel. People running to and from was exhausting without cars, but that is how we describe it when we are doing errands in cars. "You've got to run," and it is in a vehicle. Also, no other generation has seen such an increase in knowledge as what was witnessed in the 20th century. Think about the changes in cars, computers, medicine, and more. This generation stands out as the end time generation as described in Daniel more than any other. People had been riding horses, tending sheep, and planting crops in much the same way for centuries before the last century. He calls it the last days in his book. This is one place Christians get the ideas about the last days and end times.

 

Okay, so I started reading Ezekiel in la Biblia Reina Valera 1960. This is basically the King James Version Bible in Spanish. I was excited about the first few chapters, which included descriptions of angels with four heads and wings. God is on the throne with a rainbow around him. These are amazing visions of Heaven. I want to read twelve chapters a day so I can get to the dry bones chapter quickly. Then, I plan to work through a DELE C2 Preparation book. I also want to brush up on my Portuguese vocabulary this month. My Portuguese has gotten a little rusty since May. I have been watching television and news in Spanish. My Spanish is better than I expected it to be. I understand very fast Spanish on Telemundo. I just thank God because I have not studied since May of this year. I am going to have a busy day for Christmas. I wanted to watch Fireproof and Infidel with Jim Caviesel (the man who played Jesus in The Passion of the Christ). I have been celebrating Christmas since Thanksgiving. 

 

I watched a Christmas in Vienna YouTube video from 2008 and 2019 recently. I loved the opera and Vienna boys choir. I particularly enjoyed Laudate Dominum by Mozart. I learned some Latin: veritas means truth. I thought that was cool. I loved Panis Angelicus, which means bread of angels. I also heard a rendition of The Lord's Prayer by Andrea Bocelli today on the CBN Christmas Radio. I have always wanted to see the Vienna boy's choir sing. Now, a lot of the shows I never saw in person like The Lion King on Broadway are available on youtube. Every year, I like to watch the Christmas mass on EWTN catholic network at midnight on Christmas Eve/Christmas. They have such heavenly music on their program. Specifically, I enjoy watching the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C. I celebrated the festival of lights with Jews from Central Synagogue in NY online. Hanukah is a holiday mentioned in the Bible in John 10:22 that means the Feast of Dedication or re-dedication of the temple. It was a miracle how long their candles burned. They light candles for eight days to commemorate this miracle. (I am not exactly sure if it was eight candles. If you are interested in Hanukkah, you can always research its history online.) 

 

Anyway, there are Christmas markets in Vienna and Germany that really go over the top with Christmas. I know that Christmas lasts three days in the Netherlands. They really know how to have a fancy Christmas in Europe. A few days ago, the virgin of Guadalupe was celebrated on several Latino and one Catholic channel (EWTN). I always wondered what that was about since there is a television show called La Rosa de Guadalupe. I guess it's something like Touched by an Angel. I haven't watched the TV show yet since I have been busy. It's just a guess. I learned more about the the virgin of Guadalupe since that celebration happened a few days ago.

I’ve been drinking kefir and probiotic yogurt for over a week now and I found out my skin could turn so soft like a baby. I don’t think my skin has ever been this soft since I had eczema. I drink three bottles of water, take collagen and eat probiotic milk and yogurt most days. I’m telling you, actually eating the good bacteria may be even more effective than a topical treatment. The Year of the Rapture Novel Coming Soon

Yesterday, I found out that the closed cases on my copyright.gov profile were both approved by the Library of Congress. I was so excited. I had been waiting to publish my book and songs because I never received a letter in the mail saying they had been registered and copyrighted. However, today I worked on editing my second book, called The Year of the Rapture. I also attempted to publish it on Kindle as an ebook. I will know in about 72 hours if it was published or if I need to re-upload it with the newest Kindle software. They actually have really nice software that made my book look much more professional. I added a copyright page, acknowledgement page, and front and back pages that were empty. I was unable to upload a good photo since the program kept turning my photos 90 degrees to the side no matter what I tried. In the end, I did not have a photo in the second book, but I did upload new photos on my Amazon author webpage. 

In other news, I passed General Physics and the Laboratory at ECU with an A- and an A, respectively. I genuinely believe I saw the promised land as I completed these courses. I saw how things could be different if I passed this course because it made it much more likely that I would graduate as a construction management major. These courses were so difficult that I was not sure if I needed to take them a second time to pass, but I did come to realize there was a way to pass if even if you needed a second chance. I was pushed to the end of myself and learned so much detailed information about how the physical universe works. I solved challenging physics problems. I applied all the knowledge from third grade about hundreds and thousandths places to precalculus-trig at the college level. There were many courses that led me to believe I could problem-solve before taking this course. While at Pitt Community College, I completed Accounting I and II, Microeconomics, geology and precalculus-trig. By the end of Accounting II and my associate's degree, I was solving problems without much help from a tutor. Then, while in General Physics, I did everything without consulting a tutor so that there would be no debate about me getting too much help. 

Prospects are looking good for construction managers in North Carolina over the next ten years. People will always need construction managers and general contractors to build their new apartments, houses and commercial buildings. So, I celebrated when I found out I passed this class. It was so easy to fail the entire time that I held my breath until I received my final grades. I am so thankful to God that I do not need to use the pass/fail option this semester to take the course again. I know that classes like physics are so difficult like those in a medical school program. Although medical students are brilliant, it is possible for them to fail their exam the first time they take it. That is how hard their courses are, and they take a lot of physics. They are recommending that more doctors earn bachelors degrees in physics since it is the foundation of all sciences. 

Since ending the fall semester, I have been doing some light reading of a book by Lisa Bevere. I am almost finished with Girls with Swords. I have really been engaged because I enjoy watching fencing during the Olympics every four years, and she explains fencing techniques on a practical level. I had had a Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Frappachino, watched the National Dog Show on NBC after Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, and enjoyed a Frisco Thickburger from Hardee's for the first time in several months. I am praying to get registered for the classes I need to stay on track for graduation and get things settled and books reserved for the Spring 2021 semester at ECU. These have been some of the highlights of my winter vacation. 

During my break from Blogger, I learned from Thomas Horn on Skywatch TV him taking fermented turmeric curcumin for six months reversed his diabetes. It is possible to look like you did in your late thirties well into your sixties since most aging is caused by a simple vitamin deficiency. This can be reversed by taking collagen supplements since it makes up most of your bones (90%) and adds elasticity to your skin, the largest organ of your body. I am seeing more and more Hollywood stars that defy aging like Pharrell and Nicole Kidman. Maybe this is their secret. So, I started a turmeric curcumin regimen to help me reverse an prediabetes I may have had. I have eated wheat bread sandwiches daily for many months betweeen 2019 and 2020. I filed my FAFSA and actually worked for over a year up until the COVID-19 pandemic. So, that felt good to not be unemployed during 2019. 

I do not believe NASA about the Apophis asteroid that is approaching earth. Since it is going to fly closer than the satellites, I do not believe they can conclude that it will pass safely by earth in 2029 or that they know the exact location or day it will come here. It seems to be unpredictably changing position and velocity and is so far away that it is impossible to know where it will go with that much precision. They changed their initial story from 2004 that predicted it would hit the earth in 2029. Also, since it is passing closer than the satellites, won't it be pulled down by earth's gravity? There is a reason why the satellites need to be the distance they are from the earth to remain in orbit. So, that is what I think about that.

Louis Tomlinson

I've been listening to Louis Tomlinson from One Direction on Zach Sang's Show on YouTube, and it's really been amazing. He has so much insight about songwriting. He writes great lyrics. That would help me out if the lyrics I was putting music to were already written. I'm a decent writer, but I'm not as good at it as I am with writing the melody. He was so insighful. He went into how he comes from a real place and how his songs are his creations. He wants the songwriter to portray a particular sound and emotion with each song. So, he got really deep on Zach Sang's show about his January 2020 release.

New Book

I finished and submitted my second book for copyrighting on April 1st. It's a work of fiction based on  the Rapture and the Tribulation Period described in the Bible. I've also completed the cover for the book, and I think it turned out well. It'll all be on Amazon once I get the book copyrighted. Hopefully, that will be by this summer. Yesterday, my first album was released, which is titled "Just Me" by Jasmine. It's an R&B album with ten songs on it. My first Gospel album is coming out on April 11th, 2020 and is titled "Just Run On". It has seven songs on it that I worked really hard writing and producing. I think I'm gettting the hang of producing albums, but it's definitely been a learning curb. I have ideas for my third album that could come out as early as June 2020. I've gotten positive feedback from my first album on SoundCloud and ReverbNation. I'm working on promoting my music through a ReverbNation campaign on over 1,000 websites. I also submitted my music to be included in a free playlist. If I get on it, it'll be because people think my music is dope. I hope I make it.

I've also discovered One Direction's Harry Styles on YouTube. I felt like he was singing to me. He's so handsome. He has the most amazing eyes and hairline. At first, I thought he was balding a little, but it's like his DNA tells him to be very particular about where he grows his hair. Anyway, I'm not the only one who thinks he is incredibly handsome. He's had people tell him the same thing during interviews on YouTube, but he stays very grounded. Many people have went on to stardom from One Direction like Zayn and Niall Horan. I loved the NASA concept they used in "Drag Me Down." I also enjoyed the new music Harry Styles put out from 2017 and 2019. He has a beautiful soul.
